The Steele family manage to pull off a rare feet — they got everyone, three generations, together at the same place and the same time. With families juggling distances and complicated schedules, this can be nearly impossible. But they did it, and we were lucky to be their photographers.

The last time the family had photos taken the photographer shot the session without realizing he had forgotten to load film into the camera. Luckily, we didn’t match that mistake and we were glad to have been able to get a variety of looks and groups all within the setting of their wonderful beach rental.

Lindsay, Rob, and their lovely daughter, Brooklyn meet us at the Rock for a family portrait on a terrifically sunny day in Morro Bay. We photographed Lindsay and Rob’s wedding in Cambria a while back. We really enjoy seeing the families of the couples we’ve photographed over the years grow.

Our session was super sunny, which worked well with their bright colors and tremendous smiles. They’re a joy to be around!

The Wilson family met us in Montana de’Oro on a terrific day for their family portrait. We loved the look of the wet rocks with their colors and it was fun to be able get some great candid shots too. A nice family, and Los Osos locals!

San Luis Obispo Family Portrait Photography Baileyana Winery

What a beautiful family and wonderful day. We had such a great time photography the Benedetti’s at Baileyana. Not only was it a perfect San Luis Obispo Day, but we were able to sit and relax with a glass of wine after the photo shoot. As the kids played, we watched the sun set. Perfect.

Avila Valley Barn – Avila Beach

The Avila Valley Barn is one of the special places on the Central Coast and it was a great place for a family portrait session. The Morris family has started a tradition of selecting their family pumpkins in the Avila Valley Barn’s field.

Along with capturing some natural group shots we were able to get some great in action candid shots. The kids were great subjects and it was a lot of fun for us to be out in the field with them.

We were so happy to photograph Jessica and Ned and their adorable son William. Last time we saw them was on the same beach in Avila Beach for their wedding. It’s so nice to be there as families grow. William was just about the happiest baby we’ve ever photographed. Such a cutie! We were so glad to be their family photographers!

Cayucos Beach Family Photography

The Daly family gathered from all over for a family vacation in Cayucos. As the sun shinned as they all took turns being photographed with the newest addition to the family. We loved being around their infectious joy of life (you can see it in their bursting smiles). We’re lucky to be able to work in such a fantastic setting and around such wonderful people.

What an amazing evening. Just a week earlier we postponed our session with Mahrya because of a fog so heavy we couldn’t shoot, but we really lucked out. Our Montana de Oro session with Mahyra was excellent. A really wonderful young lady, she’s involved in all kinds of sports at Atascadero high and is looking forward to college.

Senior Portraiture – San Luis Obispo High

We had a great time shooting both studio and on the beach with Kaeli, who is enjoying her Senior year at SLO High while looking forward to study abroad. We were able to get a variety of looks with different backgrounds and beach settings out at Morro Bay.

The Gaines Family came out to Avila on vacation. Avila has so many beautiful spots to use as backdrop, we decided to start out in the trees near the Bob Jones trail and finish up at the beach. We had such a great time with them.
