The Appleton’s came by limo from the Central Valley to renew their vows on the beach in Pismo.  A great choice, Pismo Beach is as beach California as there is!  We were able to get a nice mix of looks and it was great to work with such a nice family.

Not only is Pismo Beach a great place for family portraits, but all along the Central Coast , including Avila Beach, Shell Beach, Morro Bay, Cayucos and Los Osos, there are wonderful places for families to get together for a family portait session. With the great weather most of the year and the tremendous scenic locations, the Central Coast is a photographer’s dream.

Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We meet a unique need for children by using donated hair to create the highest quality hair prosthetics. Most of the children helped by Locks of Love have lost their hair due to a medical condition called alopecia areata, which has no known cause or cure. The prostheses we provide help to restore their self-esteem and their confidence, enabling them to face the world and their peers.

As great to be at Spooner’s Cove in Montana de’ Oro for Ben’s Senior Photography session, it was also good fun to be in studio for a few looks.  Ben is a remarkable young man.  With his wide vareity of interests (rock climbing) and talents (jazz music), it’s clear he’s going to be doing interesting things as he heads off from high school.

With all the bad weather we were having this week, it was lucky we were able to his session in.  It was a gray day, but that’s great for photography as it provides a nice even light without the shadows.  Ben was up for everything and he’s got a natural smile and and easy-going disposition that comes through in these photographs.

Family Portrait Photograph on the Beach

The Yearys gathered the family together for a family portrait on Morro Bay Beach.  They are a fun bunch, and were celebrating an important birthday.  It was a perfect day for family portraits, including a wonderful sunset. We were lucky to get in a variety of poses and group shots.

Morro Bay is an amazing place for photography.  Whether it be the dramatic coastline and Morro Rock, or in one of the beautful parks, there’s too many places to choose from for great family pictures. We love this spot for Family Portraits because of its rocky coastline, beach and Morro Rock backdrop.

Celebrate your love with a Valentines Day 2012 Photography session.  Bryan and Brittany have been together for over year and thought it was time to mark this special day with a couples portrait session.  We have a fun time in a hidden grove in the Elfin Forrest setting a scene for a romantic moment.
